CCLO Mainstage

CCLO's Mainstage Ensemble, (for students ages 8 - 18),

is an intermediary between Educational Theatre and the professional stage.

Students train and rehearse for full-scale Broadway shows and Showcases, both musical and dramatic.

Productions include professional sets, costumes, lighting, sound - and a live professional orchestra for musical per performances

The creative teaching Staff is comprised of professional Artist-Educators who have extensive experience in their respective fields. Many have advanced degrees and excel in more than one Performing Art.

Mainstage Ensemble participants not only receive artistic and technical training for the stage, they spend time immersed in activated deeper learning processes with each production. From reflective questioning to research projects, interpersonal exploration to Self-discovery, we want our theatricians to make connections between the material we engage with and their own lives and experiences. All skills taught can be applied both on and off of, the stage.

Mainstage classes, workshops, and productions are carefully designed so students of every skill level can work side by side.  Participants are gently challenged to take risks, push their potential, and capably conquer fears of the unknown and unfamiliar: essential ingredients in the building of an artist and in the development of a human.  We personalize the experience for each individual with whom we work to ensure learning, growth, and advancement for all.

The environment is always energetic, dynamic and fun.  Laughter is always a side effect, mistakes are always welcome learning opportunities.

Mainstage ensemble is dedicated to creating well-rounded, capable and confident performers and well-rounded, capable and confident people.
